Inspired by Jean-Philippe Blondet's dish ‘Lightly Poached Langoustine, paired with Tom’s Watercress and a Hazelnut Condiment', the work sits at the intersection of contemporary abstraction, embodied experience, and cross-disciplinary dialogue between fine art and haute cuisine. It resists illustration in favour of translation, positioning the body as the site where the sublime is mentally and physically understood.
Currently on display at the Alain Ducasse restaurant, at the Dorchester Hotel, London.
